Culinary evening with Yannick La Salle

28 October 2019 à 12:00 am

On Friday, October 25th, around 150 people gathered for a culinary evening with Chef Yannick La Salle, native from the region, organized by the Bryson Recreation Association. The event was described as an “incredible success” by the mayor of the municipality, Alain Gagnon.

With the goal of raising funds for the Bryson RA Association’s youth programs and recreational facilities, the president of the association, Julie Ryan said she was grateful for the generosity of the community.

In addition to support their Chef for the event, the owners of Chelseas’ Les Fougères restaurant, Charles Part and Jennifer Warren, donated $1,500 to the Bryson RA, an amount which Julie Ryan says will help fund one of the association’s project:

After the evening, Chef Yannick La Salle, who was also the winner of the 2019 Canadian Culinary Championship, gave his impressions of the event.

The goal of the culinary evening was to raise funds for the association’s youth programs and recreational facilities, as well as to finish paying off the new municipal rink in the near future.

When talking about the Défi des Chefs Leucan Outaouais, La Salle says he is hoping to participate in next year’s edition.
