In April, the National Assembly created a petition calling for school taxes to be standardized throughout Quebec, with the support of the chair of the Western Quebec School Board. Diane Nault, President of the Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais School Board explains that the less people register with the school board that higher they have to raise taxes:
