COVID-19 : COVID-19 : Back to school scheduled for May 4th, 2020
The closure of the province’s schools, universities and daycares is extended until at least May 1st, 2020, in order to limit the spread of COVID-19 in the province.
Elementary and secondary schools (public and private), higher education institutions (training centers, CEGEPs and universities) and childcare services are included in this measure.
The Ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur plans to offer educational activities and videos to make life easier for parents and students and to ensure the maintenance of skills. As for CEGEP and university students, starting March 30th, they will be able to complete their session remotely if their program allows them.
Emergency child care will remain open to support health, social and essential workers.
