Cottage Fire in Isle-aux-Allumettes

Floods have made it difficult for fire departments across the Pontiac. In the municipality of Isle-aux-Allumettes, a cottage on the row H was engulfed in flames on Sunday morning at around 10am, unfortunately, the municipal firefighters could not intervene as the road was inaccessable due to the flooding. The residence was reported as being a total loss. According to an initial assessment of the cottage, it would seem that the fire was caused by an electrical panel.
