The most recent annoncements by Quebec government confirmed today 628 people infected with COVID-19. Of these, 45 are hospitalized, including 20 in intensive care. A total of 4 deaths have been reported in the province.
This is an increase of 409 cases since the day before. Prime Minister François Legault has indicated that the sudden increase in cases is due to the fact that the Direction de la santé publique has changed the way it compiles data, now considering the probable cases that had been identified in recent days as confirmed cases.

Mandatory containment for elderly in seniors’ residences
