Comets win over Maniwaki 5-4

The Pontiac Comets got off to a good start of 2020 by winning their 9th consecutive game on Saturday January 4th, winning 5 – 4 against the Maniwaki Forestiers.

Comets goalkeeper Danick Boisvert made 48 saves out of a total of 52 shots, earning the first star in the game. Mitchell Gibson, Darcy Findlay, Olivier Donovan, Matthew Warren and Ryan Peck each scored for the Pontiac team.

The Comets will be in Fort-Coulonge next Saturday, receiving this time the Montagnards de Mont-Laurier. Note that the Comets are currently at the top of the ranking of the Quebec Senior AA Hockey League. The Pontiac team so far has 10 wins and only 4 losses.
