CLSC Pontiac foundation brings in more than $20,000 with crooner night
The CLSC Pontiac Foundation hosted a fundraiser evening featuring the vocal stylings of crooner Sylvain Beauchamp this past Saturday, April 5, at the Pontiac Conference Centre in Fort-Coulonge to benefit the Manoir Sacré-Cœur.
More than 160 tickets were sold for the event. In addition to ticket sales, the generosity of donors helped raise over $20,000. Key donors include MP André Fortin, Évolugen, Caisse Desjardins des Rivières de Pontiac, and Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL).
The evening began with a dinner and silent auction, followed by Beauchamp’s performance. Foundation President Anne Amyotte said that the donations would enable the Manoir to acquire two new beds and their associated mattresses.
The final amount raised remains to be determined, as the fundraising campaign continues until the end of April. The Foundation encourages anyone wishing to make a donation or organize a support activity to contact them immediately.
