The CLSC Pontiac Foundation will be hosting celebrated singer Sylvain Beauchamp at the Pontiac Conference Centre in Fort-Coulonge in the coming weeks as a fundraiser for the organization.
Foundation President Anne Amyotte, along with Beauchamp himself, stopped by CHIP 101.9’s studios to discuss the upcoming spectacle, which will take place on Saturday April 5, with dinner starting at 5 p.m. and the show beginning at 7 p.m. The charitable organization raises money to meet the needs of both the long-term care facility in Mansfield, but also the CLSC.
Amyotte said that currently they’re seeking to purchase two new double beds for the Manoir Sacré-Cœur, which cost around $16,000 each as well as special mattresses, which run about $3,500 each.
A crooner, Beauchamp said that his repertoire covers a wide range of favourites from yesteryear like Sinatra and Aznavour that should have everyone on the dance floor.
Tickets are $60 (supper included) and can be purchased at Giant Tiger in Shawville, Épicerie Dubeau in Chapeau and CHIP 101.9’s office in Fort-Coulonge, or by emailing fondationclscpontiac@gmail.com.
