Clarendon: 69-year-old man dies in motocross accident
A 69-year-old man died Monday in a fatal motocross accident on his private property on Sand Bay Road in the municipality of Clarendon.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 3:30pm. The man, alone on his motocross, made a jump and lost control on the landing. He was later taken to the hospital where his was pronounced dead. According to Sergeant Marc Tessier, the spokesperson of the Sûreté du Québec, the man had several years of experience in this activity.
On site, the police conducted an early investigation of the accident that is ongoing, and an analyse of the bike will be done.
