Health Minister Danielle McCann fired the CEO of the Centre intégré de Santé et Services Sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais, Jean Hébert. The Outaouais’ Deputy President and Executive Director, Josée Filion, will take over the position. Recall that Hébert was appointed back in 2015 where, at the time, Gaétan Barrette was Minister of Health. For several weeks now, many organizations have asked for the resignation of Jean Hébert, including the group Voix du Pontiac-Pontiac Voice. The lack of communications between Hébert and the community seems to have been particularly criticized.
