CISSSO deficit report; The Pontiac voice group worried

In a press release sent Wednesday by the Voix du Pontiac – Pontiac Voice group, members spoke of their shocked after the cuts and reorganization of the CISSSO. Official spokesperson for the committee, Josey Bouchard says that they are very worried that the recent announcements about the Shawville hospital. The announcement of the enlargement of the endoscopy unit, that was without any mention of the start date for the dialysis unit. They question, in particular, the savings by centralization, the services promised, along with hiring and training of new staff. They also ask if services will be cut again in an attempt to balance the budget. According to this release, the directors have proven once again that their approach in balancing budget has not been successful despite all the changes.
