Christian Dubé dissatisfied with the situation in the Outaouais
Quebec Minister of Health and Social Services Christian Dubé said he was unhappy with the delays in obtaining an appointment to be tested for COVID-19 in Gatineau as well as the time that elapsed between testing and obtaining the results. He said during yesterday’s press conference that corrective measures have been put in place.
“We had problems with equipment that had to be replaced, it took a long time. We had a personnel problem. We sent additional staff to help the team in place. The situation has improved and will be even better soon. I take responsibility for it, ”said Minister Dubé.
Christian Dubé mentioned that in the near future, the population should expect results within 24 hours.
The Legault government also announced the emergency measures will be extended until April 18 in Gatineau and in the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais.
