Chef’s challenge raises more than $255,000 for Maison Papillion
The Leucan Chefs’ Challenge, in which CHIP 101.9 and its host Marie Gionet participated, raised $255,000 last Thursday (March 27) at the Hilton Lac Leamy in Gatineau. This money will be donated to the Maison Papillon children’s palliative care home. The event was a resounding success, according to the organizers. Pontiac community radio station CHIP 101.9 once again stood out, as the prize for best dessert was awarded to Gionet and her team. This is the second time she has won one of the awards presented during the evening.
Over 600 people attended. Leucan Outaouais indicates that donations help increase the chances of survival, reduce side effects, and improve the quality of life of survivors.
