New Four-Way Stop Installed at Princess and King Streets in Shawville

Drivers in Shawville will need to take note of a new traffic change: a four-way stop is now in effect at the intersection of Princess and King streets.

The measure is intended to improve road safety for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists. “We encourage everyone to drive cautiously and adjust to the new traffic pattern as soon as it takes effect,” the Municipality of Shawville stated.

From now on, all road users—regardless of their direction of travel—will be required to stop at this intersection.
