Chase the Ace funding available for Pontiac community organizations
Pontiac community radio station CHIP 101.9 invites community organizations and non-profit organizations in the Pontiac to submit their projects for a share of the profits generated by Chase the Ace, a weekly lottery that has been running since September.
Interested organizations can obtain the application form at the radio station’s reception desk, located at 138 rue Principale in Fort-Coulonge, or download it online. To be eligible, projects must originate from the Pontiac and be led by a non-profit organization or community group. A board resolution is required for non-profit organizations. Chase the Ace organizer Nathalie Denault explained the criteria for submitting a project.
The progressive jackpot is now close to $37,000, and Chase the Ace redistributes 35% of ticket sales to local charities. Denault explained that the projects would be selected by a committee.
Projects will be selected based on the quality of the applications and the available funding. For more information, contact Denault at 819-683-3155 or by email at nathalied@chipfm.com.
