Chapeau: lifting the water restriction

The water restrictions have been lifted for the residences of the village of Chapeau, in l’Isle-aux-Allumettes. According to a press release issued earlier this week, the risk of damage to the village sewer system has decreased. However, the municipality is still asking its citizens to control their potable water consumption and to put in practice techniques to reduce their consumption since the level of the Ottawa River plans to remain high for a few more weeks.
