Centraide Outaouais’ 2018 campaign launch
Pontiac residents were invited to a 5 to 7 to launch the 74th Centraide Outaouais campaign. Eric O’Brien was there and spoke with the President of the 2018 Campaign, former Pontiac MP, Minister of Transport and Minister of Foreign Affairs Lawrence Cannon. He spoke about the role he will play as president of the 2018 Campaign.
Centraide Outaouais Executive Director Nathalie Lepage has set the objectives for the organization in the coming year.
The launch of the campaign was held at Little Red Wagon Winery in Shawville. Centraide Outaouais is an organization that fights against poverty and social exclusion, by raising funds to support community organizations that help vulnerable people.
In the MRC Pontiac, seven organizations are supported by Centraide Outaouais: Bouffe Pontiac, Center Serge-Bélair, Comptoir St-Pierre in Fort-Coulonge / Mansfield, the Jardin éducatif du Pontiac, the Maisons des jeunes du Pontiac, as well as the Patro de Fort-Coulonge / Mansfield.
