Cell phone driving; fines could quadruple

Fines will soon be much tougher when it comes to cell phone use while driving.

Quebec intends to quadruple the fine to $ 400.

Currently, the fine varies between $ 80 and $ 100, in addition to earning 4 demerit points.
Transport Minister André Fortin has pledged to present his change to the Highway Safety Act this fall.
