The Fort-Coulonge / Mansfield Country Festival starts next weekend and despite the challenges of the 2019 floods, the organizers say that they will be ready to welcome the thousands of visitors expected for this years’ event. From the Festival, one of the key organizers, Phil Denault, gave more details with our host Eric O’Brien.

As a comparison of the gravity of floods in the region, the 2019 floods has often been referred to that of 1979, forty years ago. Eric O’Brien spoke to a resident of Mansfield, Anne Bertrand-Amyotte, who experienced both.
