In this interview with Eric O’BRien, David Gillespie is talking about the situation for farmers in terms of cultivation and Floods.

Following several comments on social media and elected municipal officials concerning the management of the dams on the Ottawa River, CHIP 101.9’s Elizabeth Séguin went to Deux-Rivières, Ontario to see the situation of river levels first hand. Here’s a portion of report:

As a comparison of the gravity of floods in the region, the 2019 floods has often been referred to that of 1979, forty years ago. Eric O’Brien spoke to a resident of Mansfield, Anne Bertrand-Amyotte, who experienced both.
