Last night (November 14th) in the municipality of L’Isle-Aux-Allumettes, an information session on residual material management was given in collaboration with the MRC and EnvironÉduc Action. Eric O’Brien was on site and was able to speak with one of the representatives of EnviroEduc Action, Ayoub Hammoudi and the mayor of Chichester, Donald Gagnon.

The previous owner of Campbell’s Bay Cement, Todd Hoffman, started a brewery in the municipality of Campbell’s Bay off of Highway 148. Eric O’Brien went to visit him on his site.

Many organizations in the Pontiac and in the Outaouais will be organizing a week of activities for National Caregiver week. The Project coordinator at the Connexions Resource Center, Arnaud de la Salle, told CHIP about the activities they will be organizing in the Pontiac:

From November 1st until November 23rd, Bouffe Pontiac will be collecting requests from families wishing to receive a food box during the annual Fort-Coulonge Knights of Columbus food drive, which is on Friday, December 14th. One of the organizers of the Food Drive, Carl Morin, spoke to Eric O’Brien about the event.
