Cannabis at 21 years old; who will lose the most? Our youth, according to André Fortin

Following the tabling of Bill 2 at the National Assembly of Quebec (an act to tighten the regulation of cannabis), the Official Opposition critic for health, public health and vitality of the regions, André Fortin, stressed the government’s irresponsible approach.

According to André Fortin, by increasing the legal age to 21 to purchase and consume cannabis, the government goes against the recommendations of experts and does not take into account the protection of youth ages 18 to 21.
