Candidates announced for Fort-Coulonge council seat 1

Two candidates will by vying for the Fort-Coulonge council seat left vacant following the death of Lucie Bertrand. Freeda Bechamp Graveline, who lost by only four votes to Philippe Ouellette (council seat 2) in the 2021 elections has put her name forward. She will face Dave Herault, a citizen involved in several causes around town. Advance polling will be on February 19 from noon to 8 p.m., with the final vote taking place the following Sunday February 26 between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. CHIP 101.9 will be speaking with the candidates shortly.
