Candidacy for Calumet council seat closes Friday

Residents of l’Île-du-Grand-Calumet interested in sitting on council have until Friday (July 8) to apply for the seat four post, which has been vacated by Alice Meilleur-Pieschke.

Advance polls will take place on July 31, and election day is August 8. The municipal hall is open from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for those wishing to submit their paperwork.
