Canadian Museum of Nature : Special programming in March

9 March 2026 à 2:41 pm

The Canadian Museum of Nature is offering several special activities throughout the month of March, particularly during the school March break.

Until March 22nd, the museum will be open every day to welcome families. Visitors will be able to explore the new exhibition Life on Land: The Devonian, which looks at the evolution of the first animals that moved from water to land millions of years ago.

Young visitors can also take part in interactive activities and observe living creatures in the Water Gallery. Pierre Poirier shares more details:

“Visitors get to imagine their own prehistoric creatures by combining different ancient animals. Until March 30th, visitors can experience the Butterflies in Flight exhibition. Visitors can also look at living sea creatures at the Pacific Discovery exhibition, as well as live insects at the Bugs Alive exhibition. Movies will also be shown during this period.”

Visitors are reminded that admission to the Canadian Museum of Nature is free on Thursday evenings between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. More details are available on the website nature.ca.
