Campbell’s Bay Langford’s under new ownership

The Langford’s Dépanneur location in Campbell’s Bay has been under new ownership since the start of the month.

Proprietor Jarod Croghan explained that he used to work for former owner Mazhar Iqbal Dar, widely known to the community as Tony, since he was a teenager. They were partners in a store in Otter Lake previously, and when the Campbell’s Bay location was put up for sale, Croghan approached his old boss about taking over.

Croghan said that he would continue with his full-time job in real estate while helping out at the store as much as possible. His wife Samantha Beauparlent will look after the day-to-day operations.  He had high praise for Dar, his former boss and mentor.
