Campbell’s Bay inaugurates a self-service sports equipment rental station

Residents and visitors of Campbell’s Bay can now enjoy a brand-new way to stay active for free. The Municipality has officially installed a BoxUp station at Maurice-Beauregard Park.

Located near the tennis and pickleball courts, this self-service kiosk allows users to borrow sports equipment free of charge to enjoy the recreational facilities. Users simply download the BoxUp app, create an account, unlock a locker, and return the equipment when they are finished.

The station will be accessible year-round and will offer equipment adapted to different seasons, allowing residents to stay active in both summer and winter.

The Municipality of Campbell’s Bay acknowledges that this project was made possible thanks to the support of Loisir sport Outaouais and the Circonflexe – Prêt pour bouge program. It also thanks the Campbell’s Bay Adult 3-Pitch Fun League, whose contribution helped expand the available equipment.

With this new facility, Campbell’s Bay hopes to encourage healthy lifestyles and make physical activity even more accessible to the entire community.
