Call for Proposals: Public Artwork at the MRC Pontiac Office
The MRC Pontiac has launched a call for proposals from artists for a public artwork to be installed outside its administrative headquarters. The piece will be located in front of the MRC Pontiac offices and will contribute to enriching the region’s cultural and visual landscape. Through this initiative, the MRC hopes to receive proposals that spark imagination and reflect the identity of Pontiac.
This call is open to professional artists or collectives of professional artists who hold a Québec Business Number (NEQ) and are recognized by the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ). The deadline for submissions is November 4 at noon. Interested artists must submit a complete application in accordance with the requirements outlined on the MRC Pontiac website: mrcpontiac.qc.ca/entreprises/entrepreneuriat/appel-aux-artistes.
The full (FRench-language) interview with Marie Gionet, the MRC Pontiac’s Economic Development Commissioner (Culture), is available here.
