Buiding bridges with English speaking Quebecers

16 September 2019 à 12:00 am

The Coalition Avenir Quebec Government (CAQ) recently set in motion a tour of the English speaking communities as a way to “build bridges” with English speaking Quebecers. CHIP 101.9 recently spoke to the MNA for Saint Rose and Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier for relations with English Speaking Quebecers, Christopher Skeete, who talked about the reason the Government has begun this initiative:

On October 3rd, the Parliamentary Secretary will meet with the Regional Association of West Quebecers (RAWQ), an association mandated with protecting the rights of English Speaking communities across the Outaouais. On Friday, during “the Drive”, CHIP 101,9 spoke with the Executive director of the RAWQ, Linton Garner, about what he will be putting forward for the English speaking community in the Pontiac during the next federal election campaign.

More on the Quebec Government’s “Building Bridges” tour of the English Speaking Quebecers will be available following the meeting with the RAWQ on October 3rd.

The complete interview with Christopher Skeete is available here.
