A woman originally from Bryson has written a movie script that is currently in production in the Pontiac region.
Mireille Normandeau explained that her psychological thriller “Twin Compass” is on the subject of bullying, a subject that she felt needs more attention. She said she’s been working on the project for more than a year.
Normandeau said that they had been filming throughout the summer in Pontiac communities like Bryson and Quyon, and hoped to have shooting wrapped up by November. She said that the movie will feature original music from herself and other local musicians. She said that the aim is to be able to screen the film by next fall.
