Bryson kicks off summer with a big family celebration on June 13th

The Bryson Recreation Association is inviting the public to its “Swingin’ into Summer” event, which will take place on Saturday, June 13th at Lions Park, located at 660 Principale Street in Bryson.

This festive day will feature a one‑day baseball tournament, along with a BBQ and a cash bar.

Activities will begin at 10 a.m. with the baseball tournament, followed in the late morning by the Lil’ Rascals Market (from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.), where visitors will find candy, pastries, jewelry, slime, and other local products.

In the afternoon, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., several family‑friendly activities will be offered: a giant art canvas for kids, lawn games, face painting, temporary tattoos, as well as cotton candy and snow cones.

The organization encourages families to reserve their spot and come enjoy this festive day that marks the start of summer in a warm, community‑focused atmosphere.
