Bryson celebrates 150 years with February Winter Carnival

The municipality of Bryson is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year with series of activities for the whole family. Under the Bryson Winter Festival, the municipality is hosting a Carnival, a ball hockey tournament, an ice fishing derby, community breakfasts, and dances, among many other activities held throughout the month of February.

In an interview with CHIP 101.9, Meghan Griffin, one of the organizers, talked about what their goal is with the celebration and how so many community partners have gotten involved.

The Bryson Winter Festival kicks off on January 29 with a community breakfast. The weekend following, February 3-5 will be the central piece of the municipality’s 150th celebration.
