Bristol Dryland 2022 set to host several hundred teams
At the end of the month, hundreds of racers and their four-legged teammates will descend on Bristol for the annual Dryland Championship dog races, which will take place this year on October 29-30. Organizer Denis Rozon explained that the while they had just under 200 participants in last year’s event, they were expecting more than 300 this year, now that there were no restrictions on international travel.
He said that this year’s races serve as a qualifier for the World Championships that will be held in Bristol next fall, which is why the turnout for this year is higher than normal.
It’s free for attendees to come and watch and Rozon added that there would be food available on site.
The full interview with Rozon (4m55) is available here.
