Boil Water Advisory – Quyon Sector
Due to a water main break that occurred today, the Municipality of Pontiac is issuing a preventive boil water advisory for the Quyon sector until further notice.
What to do:
Before consuming tap water, you must:
Bring the water to a rolling boil for at least 1 full minute.
Let it cool before using it.
Residents are also asked to reduce their water consumption to a minimum (avoid car washing, lawn watering, or any non-essential use) to help our Public Works team carry out repairs and stabilize the system more quickly.
Public Works crews are already on-site making the necessary repairs. Another notice will be issued once the situation is resolved and the water is declared safe to drink.
