Birthday fundraiser held for the Sheriff of Norway Bay

A 75th birthday party for the man known around Bristol as the “Sheriff of Norway Bay” brought out a good crowd to the Jack Graham Community Centre on Sunday afternoon (May 28). Wayne Craig is a well-known member of the community and was presented with the key to Norway Bay by Mayor Brent Orr.

Friend Tracey Moore explained that they were raising money for a four-wheeled mobility scooter for Craig, to make his commutes around the community easier in the winter.

In total the event raised $2,100 for Craig.
