Better recognize fraud through an information workshop

Better recognize fraud through an information workshop

30 June 2026 à 9:01 am

Citizens are invited to participate in a legal workshop on fraud, to be held on Thursday, July 9th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Mansfield–Fort-Coulonge Library.

Led by lawyer Jade Barrière and social worker Anny Martel, this information session will help participants better understand the different forms of fraud, how they can fall victim to them, prevention strategies, and the resources available to those affected.

The workshop aims to provide practical tools to recognize risky situations and better protect oneself against scams, which particularly target vulnerable individuals.

Registration is recommended by calling 819-682-9602 or visiting the West Quebecers website. The workshop is organized in collaboration with the Outaouais BIBLIO Network and Info Justice Outaouais, with the support of the Government of Canada.
