Beach closed at Tim Hortons Camp due to elevated bacteria levels
Quebec’s Ministry of Environment is advising the public that they, along with the Municipality of Pontiac have agreed to close the beach at the Tim Hortons Camp des Voyageurs outside Quyon, due to elevated levels of bacteria. After analyzing a sample taken on July 27, they determined that the bacteria levels did not meet their quality standards, and consequently issued a no-swim notice.
