André Fortin denounces the interruptions of services in surgery
In a Facebook post, the MNA for Pontiac and official opposition critic for Health, Public Health and Vitality of Regions, André Fortin, vigorously denounced the situation of the interruptions of services in surgery in hospitals across Quebec. Witting: ”the Pontiac Community Hospital just went through four days without a surgeon on hand, a situation far from acceptable in a rural region where other options are not easily available.” He specifically asked the Minister to resolve the situation in Shawville and across Quebec. André Fortin wrote in the post that the Health Minister Danielle McCann responded by saying she was ”about to” resolve the issue and that it should be done “shortly”.
