André Fortin criticizes the CISSS de l’Outaouais’ system
The provincial deputy for Pontiac, André Fortin, criticized the measures put in place for the influenza vaccination campaign which will begin at the beginning of November. André Fortin believes that the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais does not have enough places in the Gatineau region to obtain the vaccine for free, which could create a greater number of trips to the some MRCs, such as the Pontiac.
André Fortin believes that the CISSS de l’Outaouais would benefit from using places such as community centers to carry out the vaccination. André Fortin even criticized the CISSS saying that some of their excuses sounded like that of a student’s “dog who ate homework”.
Remember that the urban region of Gatineau is currently in the red zone and the MRC Pontiac is in the orange zone.
