An 88-year-old man gets fined for driving 147km/h in a 90km/h zone in Luskville
On Monday, September 23rd at approximately 1:40 pm, the Sûreté du Quebec from the MRC des Colines-de-l’Outaouais pulled over an 88-year-old man from Ottawa for driving 147 km/h in a 90 km/h zone, on Hwy 148 in the Luskville area of the Municipality of Pontiac.
For the occasion, the octogenarian received an $871 fine and 10 demerit points. The driver also received a small private lesson on how to use the cruise control on his new SUV.
