Agreement in principle reached between the SAQ and its unionized employees
An agreement has been reached between the bargaining committee of the SAQ’s employee union and their bosses. This agreement should be submitted to the union’s general council in the coming weeks as well as to the 5,500 union members in the month of January. A vote will then be held on the agreement.
The employees, who are members of the union, have been without a collective agreement since March 31st, 2017. Improving the balance between work-family-study and reducing job insecurity are the main priorities of concern to union members.
