A unanimous resolution to request

During the meeting of the municipal council of Île-du-Grand-Calumet which took place last Monday, the members of the council adopted a resolution in order to ask the management of the Outaouais of the Ministère des Affaires municipales to accompany it . Acting Mayor Alice Meilleur-Pieschke said in the resolution that given the current difficulties on council, negative consequences have repercussions on the municipality and on relations between council members. The municipality of Île-du-Grand-Calumet hopes that the intervention of the Department will help elected officials to promote teamwork and a certain stability.

The resolution was proposed by Mayor Serge Newberry and seconded by Councilor Réjean Meilleur.
