A resounding success for the Knights of Columbus dinner in Fort-Coulonge
A true record was set on March 28 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Fort-Coulonge, as the traditional walleye dinner drew an exceptional crowd.
According to Pierre Bourassa, representative of the Knights of Columbus, the event saw “unprecedented” attendance:
“318 meals were served, which has never been seen before. The Knights thank the volunteers who participated in the event; the kitchen staff, the musicians, as well as the attendees, who came from everywhere in the region to experience the dinner. Some even came from Rawdon, Lanaudière. They also thank CHIP 101.9 for publicizing the dinner. The profit from the event will be given back to the community.”
Organized in a spirit of togetherness and solidarity, the dinner brought together people of all ages around a great meal in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Beyond its festive nature, the event is also very important for the community, as the funds raised will support various local causes.
The Knights of Columbus would like to warmly thank all the volunteers, partners, and guests who contributed to the success of this memorable evening.
Given such enthusiasm, the organization is already hoping to repeat the experience next year with even more attendees.

Thank you Jane Toller for the pictures.
