A new ECONOMUSÉE® dedicated to market gardening will open its doors in Gatineau
The company Courges et cie will officially inaugurate its new Économusée® dedicated to market gardening, featuring squash and pumpkins, on Wednesday, September 9th, in Gatineau. The event will mark the opening of this new “Artisans at Work” experience, the second of its kind in the Outaouais region.
Starting at 2 p.m., visitors and media representatives will be able to explore the company’s facilities and learn more about the expertise involved in the production and processing of squash and pumpkins.
A press conference will kick off the activities, which will continue with a tour of the facilities, meetings with the artisans, and a tasting of local products. Much of the event will take place outdoors.
With this new experience, Courges et cie aims to contribute to the promotion of the agricultural and agritourism heritage of the Outaouais region. The project will allow the public to discover the work carried out by the company and the investments made in creating this space dedicated to sharing knowledge and expertise in market gardening.
The official opening will take place on Wednesday, September 9th, 2026, at 2 p.m. in Gatineau.
