A map of Fort-Coulonge in 1888 found!

The author of the book “Fort-Coulonge – Pour mieux connaître son histoire” – Benoit Paré, made a discovery in recent weeks of a map of the municipality of Fort-Coulonge dating back to 1888. Benoit Paré had been looking for this particular map for many years.

This map represents one of the first documents that led to the recognition of the municipality by the Quebec government.

In an interview with CHIP 101.9, he explained the steps that allowed him to find this card.
