41-year-old man arrested following police intervention in Bristol

Yesterday morning (Thursday April 21), Sûreté du Québec officers from MRC Pontiac were called to a home on chemin Bristol View in Bristol regarding an assault following a dispute between a man and a woman.

After police arrived at the property, the suspect, a 41-year-old man, refused to leave the house. He eventually surrendered around noon to police who were called in from Gatineau to assist.

Sgt. Nicolas Shaultus explained that he would be officially facing charges shortly.
