The Governmenet of Canada will be providing funding to the Réseau des SADC et CAE amounting to $ 287 million to be divided among the 67 SADCs and CAEs in Quebec and the 268 organizations across Canada. The Member of Parliament for the Pontiac, William Amos, spoke to CHIP 101.9 about the need for this Funding during this COVID-19 Pandemic.

Although the division of $ 287 million grant remains to be determined, according to the Director General of the SADC Pontiac, Rhonda Perry, this funding will greatly help the SADC support the local SMEs in the Pontiac.

In a press release issued on the SADC’s website, discussions will take place in the coming days with government officials to ensure the rapid delivery of this financial assistance. More details will be available shortly.
