200 people gathered to listen to warden candidates
Yesterday ,there was a forum organized by the Pontiac Chamber of Commerce were nearly 200 people gathered to listen to the 5 warden candidates, wishing to become the first warden elected by universal suffrage. The Chamber of Commerce was in 2008 in favour of a warden elected by universal suffrage making them one of the first organizations behind the initiative.
The five candidates tried to differentiate themselves according to their experiences. For Linda Davis, a former Ottawa City Councillor, she spoke about her extensive experience on a number of occasions:
