16-year-old fined $1, 105 for driving motorcycle on public roads
On Sunday, September 29th, at around 7:30 pm, police officers from the MRC Pontiac’s Sûreté du Québec, received complaints from citizens that a person was driving at high speed, with no lights, on a motocross, in the village of Fort-Coulonge in the area of Laroche Street. A problem that had been raised in the past.
After a short investigation, the Sûreté was able to identify the driver of the bike. The 16-year-old from Pontiac received a fine totalling $1, 105 for driving an off-road vehicle on public roads without headlights, driving a vehicle without a driver’s license of the appropriate class, driving without helmet and driving a vehicle whose license plate is not securely fastened.
