The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais confirmed that since yesterday (May 25), people aged 12 to 17 are invited to make an appointment to be vaccinated at one of the 6 vaccination sites in the region. Appointments can be made via Québec.ca/vaccinCOVID, which is the easiest and fastest way to make an appointment, or by dialing 1 877 644-4545, option 7 (vaccination).

In addition, starting June 7, vaccination for this clientele will also be organized in schools in the region. More information regarding the organization of this offer will be announced in the coming days.

In order to increase and encourage vaccination among the youth population, the offer of walk-in clinics continues at the Palais des Congrès and is now available at the Buckingham Community Center according to the following schedule:
– Palais des Congrès: Monday to Friday – 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
– Buckingham Community Center: Tuesday to Friday – 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Despite the progress of vaccination, it is important to continue to strictly adhere to current health measures until the population is sufficiently immunized. We wish to remind the population to respect the sanitary measures in force as the long weekend and the good weather approach. The Outaouais region remains at the red level. We thank the population for their vigilance and prudence in all their activities.

According to the most recent data, 239,188 of the 382,604 people in the Outaouais have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
