The countdown has begun for Mansfield en fête, which will take place from July 1 to 3 at Amyotte Park in Mansfield. This is the first time the event has been held since the pandemic. The site opens at 4 p.m. and there will be an official flag raising ceremony with distinguished guests at 6 p.m., with the weekend’s ball tournament kicking off shortly after.
On Saturday the stage will be shared by the duo Michaela Cahill and René Bertrand, Rosalie and Conrad Denault, Back Track, DJ Martin Leguerrier and a tribute to the bands Journey and Foreigner. There will be plenty of family-friendly activities and fireworks to close out the day.
Sunday will have the finals of the ball tournament.
The weekend’s profits will go towards the Mansfield-et-Pontefract Fire Department. Tickets are $10 for Friday and $20 for Saturday, with no cost for children under 12.
